Silicone Intakes & Filters | BMW G8x M2/M3/M4
Project Gamma intakes for the BMW M2 (G87), M3 (G80/G81), and M4 (G82/G83) feature a 4-layer reinforced ply silicone construction with oil-resistant lining and aluminum hose connections — improving airflow, increasing horsepower, and adding style to your engine bay.
Silicone technology allows Project Gamma to redesign the aluminum intake system, delivering increased horsepower and performance over the OEM setup in every aspect. A larger internal diameter allows for increased airflow through an incredibly smooth channel — resulting in increased horsepower, decreased turbo spool time, improved acceleration, and increased throttle response. The 4-layer ply silicone adds rigidity to the intake pipe's overall structure, helping prevent collapse under restrictive filter elements and large turbo applications running extreme boost.
This kit is plug-and-play and DIY-friendly, with installation taking about an hour using simple tools. All required hardware is included.
Choosing Your Extension — Front Mount vs. Engine Mount:
This intake system is available in 2 extension lengths:
- Long Extension (Front Mount): Positions the filters behind the grilles for maximum airflow. Requires removal of the front bumper and minor, permanent trimming behind the grilles for installation.
- Short Extension (Engine Mount): No trimming or bumper removal required — filters sit in the same position as the OEM air ducts inside the engine bay.
