Powerflex Dual-Mount Rear Differential Bracket

Reinforce your rear differential mounting with the Powerflex PFR5-4030 Dual-Mount Rear Differential Bracket. CNC-machined from 6082 high-tensile aluminium, this bracket utilises the secondary mounting position on the OE subframe — a position BMW leaves unused from the factory, despite the subframe being drilled and prepped for it.

Adding a second bush at this position prevents the differential from twisting under load, delivering reduced drivetrain movement, improved throttle response, a more controlled and consistent chassis response under acceleration/deceleration, better tyre-to-road power transfer with reduced wheel hop, and less strain on your fitted bushes. The corrosion-resistant, satin black anodised bracket is built to handle high stress, deflection, and torque loads, and works equally well on standard or modified vehicles with either a single OE bush or dual aftermarket bushes.

The bracket can be fitted without fully removing the subframe. For the ultimate in differential control, we'd recommend pairing it with Powerflex's PFR5-4026 Rear Diff Rear Mounting Bushes (both rear positions) and PFR5-4025 Rear Diff Front Mounting Bushes — a proven combination for a lasting fast-road or track setup. Supplied complete with M14 mounting bolt, thread locker, and a Powerflex keyring.
