JDY Performance BMW S58 I-Beam Conrod Kit – G8X M2 M3 M4

Engineered for high-performance BMW S58 builds, the JDY Performance S58 I-Beam Conrod Kit provides a strengthened connecting rod solution for engines operating at significantly increased power, torque and cylinder pressures.

Manufactured from high-strength 4340 steel, the JDY conrods utilise an I-beam design engineered for excellent structural rigidity and load distribution. The kit is designed for demanding street, track and motorsport applications, with JDY stating the rods are suitable for builds exceeding 2,000 HP when used as part of an appropriately engineered engine combination.

Available with a choice of ARP2000 or ARP625+ rod bolts, the kit can be configured to suit different performance requirements.

Key Features

I-Beam Construction
Designed to provide excellent structural rigidity and effectively distribute loads across the connecting rod under high cylinder pressures and torque.

4340 Steel Construction
Manufactured from high-strength 4340 steel for excellent tensile strength, fatigue resistance and durability in demanding high-performance applications.

Wrist Pin Lubrication Groove
A dedicated lubrication groove in the small end helps maintain oil supply to the wrist pin, reducing friction and heat during high-load and high-RPM operation.

Enhanced Crankshaft Bearing Lubrication
Additional lubrication provisions help improve oil distribution at the crankshaft bearing surface, supporting reliability under increased engine loads.

ARP2000 or ARP625+ Rod Bolts
Two fastener options are available depending on the requirements of the engine build:

  • ARP2000 – suited to high-performance street and motorsport applications.
  • ARP625+ – designed for more extreme applications requiring increased fastener strength.

Tapered Small-End Design
Designed for compatibility with OEM and OEM-style pistons, providing greater flexibility when upgrading the S58 rotating assembly.
