Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS Fuel Injectors

The Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS is the successor to the highly regarded ID1700-XDS, bringing further improvements to Injector Dynamics’ high-flow motorsport injector platform.

Developed for demanding high-horsepower and alternative-fuel applications, the ID1750-XDS delivers a 1728cc/min nominal flow rate while maintaining the exceptional fuel compatibility and corrosion resistance the ID1700-XDS became known for.

Compared with its predecessor, the ID1750-XDS provides a higher dynamic flow rate without increasing minimum fuel mass, improved cylinder-to-cylinder balance at low pulsewidths and improved pressure sensitivity.

Designed primarily for applications requiring substantial fuel delivery, the ID1750-XDS is particularly well suited to ethanol-fuelled, boosted and extreme high-horsepower builds.

Fuel Compatibility

The ID1750-XDS is compatible with a broad range of automotive and motorsport fuels, including:

• Methanol
• Ethanol
• MTBE
• Nitromethane
• Known hydrocarbon-based automotive fuels

Its corrosion-resistant construction makes it particularly suitable for performance vehicles regularly operating on ethanol and other alternative fuels.

Application Considerations

The ID1750-XDS is designed primarily for applications where very high fuel flow is required, particularly boosted engines operating on ethanol-based fuels.

Due to its high-flow characteristics, Injector Dynamics specifically positions smaller injectors such as the ID1300-XDS as the more appropriate choice where exceptional gasoline idle and low-flow drivability are a priority.

Fitment

This is a universal-fit performance fuel injector and may require additional components or modification depending on the application.

Injector length, upper and lower O-ring dimensions, electrical connector and fuel-system configuration should be confirmed before ordering.

For vehicles using direct injection from the factory, including BMW S58 applications, these injectors are not replacements for the factory direct injectors. They may be used as part of a compatible aftermarket port-injection/MPI system where the injector and fuel rail specifications are suitable.
