Using advanced 3D scanning technology, the ArmaSpeed intake tube for the BMW G80 M3 and G82 M4 is built in one seamless piece, smoothly curved to provide a direct airflow path with less drag as the turbo spools. Any mismatch or level gap in a tube's geometry causes air turbulence, so ArmaSpeed engineered the tube not only as a single piece but with a progressive enlargement profile, allowing airflow to enter the turbo inlet smoothly for maximum efficiency.

The airbox is designed with an integrated heat shield to isolate engine bay heat while maximising internal volume. The full system is constructed from fine carbon fibre — a low-density material with an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio. Carbon fibre offers the strength of traditional materials like steel or aluminium without the added weight, and its low coefficient of thermal expansion means it holds its shape reliably under heat, while its natural resistance to oxidation makes it well suited to the demands of the engine bay.
